  • First investment vehicle raised, Henko Capital Partners I, FCR, €70m committed: The private equity fund is focused on supporting outstanding Spanish and Portuguese SMEs in markets with long-term growth trends. We back management teams with transformational growth plans in attractive sectors.

Add-on acquisitions

  • Platform #1, MMYPEM and Teiga: Buy and build project to create a leading international group specialized in engineering and technical services for the energy transition of the electricity generation sector. We are launching this project with the acquisition of two outstanding companies MMYPEM and TeigaTMI. 
  • Platform #2, Defeder: We are supporting the founding team of Defeder, a leading manufacturer of ecologic fertilizers and natural ingredients for pet food. We want to consolidate their strong growth track record and support further internationalization and product development.

Talent acquisition

  • Talent attraction and team consolidation: We added 3 new recruits to our team, adding talent to reach our goals in 2022. Also, our portfolio companies have already attracted high-caliber C-level professionals to help them with their ambitious plans.

Portfolio performance

  • #1, MMYPEM + Teiga: realize cross-selling opportunities and acquire new complimentary add-ons, mainly in renewables and value-added energy services.
  • #2, Defeder: grow internationally and develop the product portfolio, with significant investment in the manufacturing site and R&D. We are also interested in accelerating the development via M&A.
