- The resulting group will have a turnover of more than 50 million euros and will position itself as a benchmark firm in technical services for wind farms and photovoltaic plants.
- The new firm's CEO will be Javier Coloma, an executive with more than 25 years of experience in the renewables sector.
Madrid, 22 July 2024. - GTM, an industrial services engineering company, and the investment fund Henko Partners have joined forces with the aim of growing in the service provision sector for the wind and photovoltaic sectors. The deal will see their respective subsidiaries, Tamoin's wind division and Revergy, join forces to create a group that will lead the market in support of renewables in Spain. The resulting group expects to achieve a turnover of 50 million euros.
Tamoin Wind's activity clearly complements Revergy's capabilities, which will allow the resulting group to have a stronger presence in the energy value chain, incorporating Tamoin's wind expertise and supply chain management. The alliance between Revergy and Tamoin Wind will also strengthen the group's position in the Iberian market and expand its geographical presence in Europe and Latin America. This is also Revergy's first corporate operation, reaffirming its objective of becoming an international benchmark in specialised services for the wind and solar sector.
The new group will be headed by Javier Coloma, a former Ingeteam executive with more than 25 years' experience in the energy sector, who has also held senior positions in companies in the sector such as STI Norland and Naitec. One of the main objectives of the management team will be to promote the numerous commercial synergies, as well as the international expansion of the group.
According to GTM, "the transaction is an important step in supporting Tamoin's wind power division in its international expansion, building on the commercial capabilities of the Revergy team. The integration is expected to bring a lot of value and will allow us to get the best out of both companies".
The CEO of the new group, Javier Coloma, stresses that "the integration of Tamoin Wind and Revergy is a key step forward in the market, as it will allow us to strengthen our position in the entire value chain of the wind sector, incorporating qualified maintenance services ranging from corrective campaigns and blade repair to the supply of spare parts and components". With the group's new range of services, Coloma adds, "we will be able to support our customers internationally with a comprehensive service".
Bird & Bird and PKF advised Henko Partners on this transaction, while Oquendo Corporate and Javier Maceira advised the GTM Group.
