Investment cycle
We're conscious of the environmental and social impact we have as investors.
That is why at Henko we remain committed to applying the highest ethical standards throughout the entire investment process. Our approach is articulated in four key phases:
Preliminary analysis
We apply a rigorous two-step analysis that integrates ESG criteria and sustainability risks:
- First, we exclude controversial activities in line with the principles of the European Investment Fund.
- We then conduct thorough ESG due diligence prior to any investment.
2. Application
The Investment Committee evaluates and approves opportunities by integrating ESG criteria, ensuring that each decision is aligned with our commitment to sustainable and responsible investing.
3. Management involvement and commitment
During the investment period, we work closely with companies, providing strategic support to generate sustainable value and drive real positive impact.
4. Divestment:
At the end of the cycle, we conduct a qualitative and quantitative assessment to measure ESG progress against the baseline.
This analysis allows us to consolidate lessons learned and reinforce our model of sustainable value creation.
