Monika joined Henko in 2024, attracted by the opportunity to contribute to value creation in growing companies, the firm’s international focus, and the quality of its entrepreneurial, professional, and collaborative team.

From the portfolio team, she brings over 25 years of experience as an auditor, strategic consultant, and corporate CFO across multiple sectors — including industrial, energy, automotive, food, and engineering services.

Monika supports portfolio companies throughout the post-acquisition integration process, working closely with their management teams on development and transformation initiatives. Her focus areas include corporate finance and capital structure, governance and organizational design, talent and leadership development, internal control, and risk management.

Before joining Henko, she built an extensive career as CFO in companies across various industries and in private equity, where she specialized in strategic turnaround projects in complex environments.

She holds a degree in Business Science and an MBA from ESADE Business School, and has training in civil, commercial and bankruptcy mediation from the UOC and the ESADE "From Executive to Board Member" programme.

Monika speaks Spanish, German, English, and Catalan, and is passionate about travel, theatre, and sports, as well as spending time with family and friends.
