Ricardo has been part of Henko since 2021, when he launched the project alongside Lars, Íñigo, and Jules. He was particularly drawn to the opportunity to help build a different kind of investor from the ground up—one that is close to entrepreneurs, hands-on, and clearly focused on developing long-term industry leaders.

He is part of the investment team, playing an active role both in deal origination and execution, as well as in the strategic support of portfolio companies. He especially enjoys learning from founders and executives with diverse backgrounds, and being part of their growth journeys—bringing long-term vision, focus, and experience in inorganic expansion.

He dedicates much of his time to the technology sector, though he also has experience in industries such as healthcare and circular economy. He is actively involved in portfolio companies like Linkroad, Astrum, and Defeder.

Before founding Henko, Ricardo worked at Sherpa Capital as an Investment Executive, and previously at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he realized he wanted to support entrepreneurs beyond transactions, in their day-to-day operations. He began his career at Garrigues and holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville).

As a true Andalusian, he makes the most of his (limited) free time traveling, enjoying dinners with friends, suffering through Betis games, and—above all—spending time with his wife and daughter.
