Voltan, an international services group focused on energy transition and renewable energy, accelerates its growth following the acquisition of Aplipem, a specialist in electrical commissioning and instrumentation and control (I&C) services.
Zaragoza/A Coruña, 29 Juneth, 2022. - Voltan, the Spanish technical services group specialised in the energy industry backed by Henko Partners, integrates Aplipem to complement its commissioning business unit, consolidating its position as a full service provider.
Aplipem offers a portfolio of electrical services specialising in the assembly and commissioning phase of power generation plants and electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure. The services offered include engineering, testing, inspection, commissioning and operation and maintenance ("O&M").
Aplipem is Henko Partners' third acquisition through its Voltan platform since the end of 2021.
Francisco VillarinoFrancisco, founder and CEO of Aplipem, will take charge of Voltan's start-up business unit. Francisco has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector and has held several senior positions in leading companies in the sector, such as OHL and Técnicas Reunidas.
